Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has agreed to stay on for another season after reaching a verbal agreement with the club, according to Sky Sports.
Hodgson, who replaced Patrick Vieira in March, won five of his 10 games in charge and helped the Eagles finish 11th.
Palace considered other options for the role, but Hodgson’s success and popularity with the players convinced the club to stick with him.
The deal is yet to be fully signed off, but the formalities of the contract are expected to be sorted soon.
Hodgson’s managerial career has spanned 47 years, including spells with Inter Milan, Liverpool, and England.
