Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has personally intervened to support the medical care of Adebola Akin-Bright, a 13-year-old boy who allegedly had a small part of his intestines missing while receiving treatment at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).

Governor Sanwo-Olu visited Adebola and his mother at the Pediatric Ward of LASUTH and pledged to utilize all available medical expertise and resources to save the boy’s life.

The mother had reached out to the Governor through social media, seeking urgent intervention in her son’s case.

LASUTH management denied any intentional removal of organs during the corrective surgery and stated that the mother was informed about certain findings.

Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed his commitment to saving Adebola’s life and assured the mother that he would take up the case.

Adebola’s mother expressed her gratitude to the Governor for his visit and support.
