She then proceeded to boil and eat parts of his head. Youssef’s uncle discovered the boy’s body parts in buckets at the family home, leading to Hanaa’s arrest.
The woman admitted to the police that she had eaten her son’s head because she “wanted him to stay with her together.”
She claimed to suffer from a mental illness and had no intention of killing her son.
