Super Falcons winger Rinsola Babajide has officially joined AS Roma Femminile on a two-year deal, NaijNaira can report.
The 27-year-old forward announced her move on her verified X account after leaving Spanish side UDG Tenerife.
“Happy to finally announce that I’ve signed for AS Roma Femminile,” she wrote, adding, “I’m so excited to see what we can achieve together.”
The England-born attacker has played for Crystal Palace, Millwall Lionesses, Watford, and Liverpool before moving to Spain’s Real Betis and Tenerife.
Now back in red, Babajide says she’s eager to begin a new chapter: “Grateful to God for guiding me through every step of this journey. My heart is full.”
Speaking to AS Roma’s media, she said, “It’s an honour to join a team like this. It’s a Champions League club, and a prestigious one at that.”
She described Serie A as highly competitive and technically demanding, noting it has similarities to Spain’s top flight.
When asked about her playing style, she said, “I’m a direct, speedy, technical player. I love one-on-ones and contributing with goals and assists.”
Babajide aims to win silverware with Roma while making a bigger impact than she did last season.
