Following Chelsea’s 3-1 defeat at the hands of Arsenal, defender Ben Chilwell has broken his silence, revealing that the players are feeling “hurt and angry.”

The Gunners took a commanding lead with goals from Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Jesus, leaving Noni Madueke’s 65th-minute goal as a mere consolation.

The loss marks Blues interim boss Frank Lampard’s sixth defeat in his first six games in charge.

Chilwell was involved in an on-field altercation with Enzo Fernandez and Thiago Silva after Arsenal’s second goal, with Odegaard once again left unmarked.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Chilwell expressed disappointment in the team’s performance, stating that they were “passive” and “probably quite a nice team to play against,” a recurring issue throughout the season.
