As the general 2023 Presidential election set to kick-off in the next few days in Nigeria and the commencement of the Presidential campaign, many Nigerians, including top politicians have been sharing their views regarding the Presidential candidates.
Based on these notes, a well known Nigerian politician, APC chieftain, former Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and former Special Assistant to the former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, Femi Fani-Kayode who responded to questions concerning Bola Tinubu’s education qualification, especially the Chicago State University that’s been a point of debates during an interview noted that the oppositions of Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu are the ones coming up with the misinformation and lies about Tinubu, claiming that his University certificate is fake.
Further speaking, the former Minister of Advocate and Director of News Media for the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Presidential campaign council, Femi Fani-Kayode made it known that everyone that knew Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu, including CSU came out to clarify that Bola Tinubu attended the school, and also graduated with one of the best results, adding that even Reno Omokri, a well known Nigerian social media personality and former Special Assistant to the former president, Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, spent up to $4000 just to go and verify if Tinubu actually attended Chicago State University, and he confirmed it was true.
In addition to his statements, the APC chieftain, Femi Fani-Kayode affirmed that the former governor of Lagos State and Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu, went to Chicago State University, went into the private sector, and then return to Nigeria to get involved in politics.
However, Femi Fani-Kayode noted that aside from that, the one time governor of Lagos State and flag-bearer of the APC, Bola Tinubu also invested in a lot of things both here and abroad such as newspaper industry, airline industry, and other things.
According to his words, Femi Fani-Kayode said, “This is a legitimate person. He went to school, he did well in school.
“He came from a family that was a blessed family from the generation before his. He inherited money, he invested the money well, he made money, and he’s still making money today, and now he’s in politics and doing well, simple as that”.
