President Bola Tinubu will be in Kaduna on Friday for a one-day visit, www.naijnaira.com reports.
During his trip, Tinubu is expected to join the Yari family for the wedding of Nasirudeen Yari and Safiyya Shehu Idris.
The groom, Nasirudeen, is the son of Zamfara West senator Abdul’aziz Yari, a figure with strong ties in the region.
According to a statement from presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, the president will attend the wedding before continuing with other engagements.
While in Kaduna, Tinubu will stop at the family home of late former president Muhammadu Buhari.
At the residence, he will pay a courtesy visit to Buhari’s widow, Aisha, in a gesture of respect to the former leader’s family.
“President Tinubu will also call on Mrs. Aisha Buhari at their Kaduna home,” the statement confirmed.
The visit highlights both social and political bonds, with Tinubu balancing personal relationships and national connections in a single trip.
By evening, the president is scheduled to return to Abuja after completing his engagements.
