The Yoruba, World Congress has endorsed the All Progressives Congress presidential, candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, for the 2023 election, saying that his precedents, qualities, ideals, and dreams for the betterment of Nigeria put him far ahead of other contenders for the county’s exalted seat.
YWC Representative in Ekiti State, Adewole Oluwasegun, who said the body decided given what Tinubu represented and his manifesto, said the APC candidate would bring about a better and more developed Nigeria to the delight of Nigerian citizens, adding that the Yoruba tribe would immensely benefit from it.
Oluwasegun, who spoke in Ado Ekiti on Saturday during the formal endorsement of Tinubu by the YWC in Ekiti State and the official presentation by the YWC of the Memorandum of Association to the APC, said,
“Look at what Tinubu did in Lagos when he was governor—the roadmap, the achievements, and the trajectory. The way he governed Lagos showed that Nigeria will not be difficult for him to handle.”
