Tiwa Savage has officially announced that her long-awaited album, This One Is Personal, will be released on August 29, 2025 – www.naijnaira.com reports.
The Afrobeats powerhouse recorded the 13-track body of work across Lagos, London, and Nashville, carefully blending sounds from each city.
And the project comes after a five-year break from major releases, a period she described as filled with pain, growth, and self-discovery.
“This album is my story, so I kept the features limited,” Savage explained during a Q&A session with fans on X.
She added, “I wanted you all to feel me in every song… it’s less about numbers and more about connection.”
Collaborations are kept minimal, with UK rapper Skepta and fast-rising singer Taves being the only featured artists.
Savage revealed that the decision was deliberate, aiming to keep the music intimate while ensuring the message stayed authentic.
The star also shared that motherhood, personal struggles, and career changes influenced much of the songwriting.
Fans are already buzzing online, eagerly counting down to the release as she teases snippets and stories behind the songs.
