Tottenham’s Woes Continue as Leicester Hands Them Fourth Consecutive Loss

Leicester City dealt another blow to Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur with a stunning 2-1 victory in the Premier League at North London.

Tottenham, still recovering from Thursday’s trip to Hoffenheim and plagued by injuries, struggled in the first half.

Despite their underwhelming performance, Spurs took the lead through a pinpoint Pedro Porro cross, which was met by a brave header from Richarlison.

However, Leicester came out strong after the break, with Jamie Vardy continuing his strong record against top clubs, equalizing for the Foxes.

Bilal El Khannouss then produced a remarkable strike to give Leicester a 2-1 lead.

Tottenham fought hard to get back into the game, but Leicester’s defense stood firm, leaving Spurs frustrated.

Postecoglou’s side suffered their fourth consecutive Premier League defeat, making him the second Spurs manager to lose four league games in a row twice.

Tottenham now sits in 15th place, just eight points above the relegation zone, while Leicester’s victory lifted them out of the bottom three, sending Wolverhampton Wanderers into the relegation zone.
