A middle-aged man, who had just returned from a trip to the United States, was crushed to death by a moving truck while trying to cross the road.
According to an eyewitness, the man had asked his driver to stop near the entrance of the estate where he lived so he could purchase some items.
After crossing the first lane and standing on the median, he was hit by a vehicle and then run over by a truck coming from behind.
The man, who wore a white t-shirt and jeans, died on the spot while the truck driver fled the scene.
The victim’s driver later discovered his employer’s body and it was taken to the mortuary.
