Former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor Godwin Emefiele has been brought to court by the Department of State Services (DSS) on charges of illegal possession of firearms.
The DSS operatives arrived at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, in the morning.
Emefiele was scheduled to be arraigned before Judge Nicholas Oweibo.
The charges against him stem from his alleged possession of a single-barrel shotgun and live ammunition without a license.
