The Super Falcons of Nigeria have been rewarded with a prize money of $1,380,000 for advancing to the round of 16 at the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

In Nigerian currency (Naira), this amounts to a total of N1,062,600,000.

FIFA has increased the prize money for the tournament, with each player in the group stage entitled to $30 million.

The Super Falcons’ performances in the group stage have earned them an additional $30,000 each, and they will continue to earn $30,000 as they progress in the competition.

If they make it to the semi-finals, each player will earn a total of $165,000, and if they win the World Cup, they will receive a prize money of $270,000.
