Former Super Falcons goalkeeper, Racheal Ayegba believes the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup Round of 16 encounter between his country and England can go either way.

Sarina Wiegman’s side have scored eight goals and conceded twice.

Ayegba, who represented Nigeria between 2001 and 2010 however insisted that his country have a chance of beating England.

“Every team has a weak point and England currently have some injuries,”Ayegba told the BBC.

“When Nigeria beat Australia, the hosts actually played well but we over-powered them with our strength and power. That’s our weapon that we have to use. If we can do that, then the game is 50/50.”
