6 Madrid stars to be sold to meet next manager’s demands, as part of shake-up that could also see 4 new signings

According to a report in El Nacional, Raul has declared the conditions for his takeover and wants the squad to undergo some major changes.

The 45-year-old former striker has requested that six of the current players be sold, with Álvaro Odriozola, Mariano Diaz, Eden Hazard, Ferland Mendy, Reinier Jesus and Jesús Vallejo all set to be culled.

In addition, he has asked for new additions to the team; a left-back, right-back, defensive midfielder and a possible replacement for aging forward Karim Benzema.

Seen as the new Zinedine Zidane at Santiago Bernabeu, there appear to be high hopes surrounding Raul’s ambitions should they come to fruition.
