Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old from Utah, made his first court appearance on Tuesday after being charged with the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk – www.naijnaira.com reports.
According to Bangkok Post, prosecutors revealed that Robinson confessed in text messages to his partner that he had “had enough of his hatred” and added, “Some hate can’t be negotiated out.”
The chilling exchange between Robinson and his partner paints a disturbing picture of what may have led to Kirk’s death during an event at Utah Valley University last week.
Court filings state Robinson left a handwritten note under his keyboard before the shooting that read, “I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and I’m going to take it.”
When confronted in texts afterward, Robinson admitted responsibility, writing, “I am, I’m sorry,” and later telling his partner he had been planning the act for more than a week.
Investigators say Robinson also urged his partner to delete incriminating messages and avoid cooperating with police, but the partner is now assisting authorities.

The suspect’s mother told investigators her son’s politics had shifted left in the past year and that he had become outspoken on LGBTQ issues, while his father remained a “die-hard MAGA supporter.”
Prosecutors disclosed that ammunition found with Robinson’s rifle had messages scrawled on them, including “Hey Fascist! Catch!” and another mocking note referencing sexuality.
Utah Governor Spencer Cox confirmed Robinson acted alone and emphasized that there is no evidence linking his partner to the killing.
Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray declined to confirm whether transgender issues were a factor, saying the charging documents speak for themselves.
