Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, has stated that Arsenal can return to the Premier League summit if they pick up a victory in their outstanding fixture.
Despite losing 3-1 to Man City at Emirates Stadium, the Gunners remain level on points with their rivals and could take top spot with a win against Everton.
According to Guardiola, “If they win the game in hand, they are top of the league…this league will be decided for the last 8 or 10 games”.
He added that with 15 matches remaining and the Champions League coming up, it is important for Man City to remain close as even a few losses could make for a daunting gap.
