Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has reportedly held discussions with Chelsea’s Kai Havertz regarding his potential role in the team if he were to transfer to Arsenal.
Although Arsenal’s initial offer for Havertz was rejected, they are expected to make a second bid soon.
According to ESPN, Arteta has informed Havertz that he could play in various positions at the Emirates, including as a No. 8, No. 10, in the two wide attacking positions, and even as a central striker.
Havertz’s versatility is believed to be a significant attraction for Arteta.
After finishing second in the Premier League last season, Arteta will be looking to strengthen his team.
