If you’re interested in joining and using Threads, Twitter’s rival messaging app, here’s how you can get started.
First, you’ll need an Instagram account.
If you already have one, simply download the Threads app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store and sign in with your Instagram account.
Threads operates within the existing Instagram and Facebook platforms.
Once you’re signed in, you can start using Threads to post short text blurbs, along with images and videos.
Similar to Twitter, you can like and repost content, as well as control who can reply to your conversations.
You can also follow and connect with others who share similar interests and build your own following.
It’s important to note that Threads currently does not have an edit button or a direct message (DM) feature.
However, it does offer longer word counts (up to 500) and longer video lengths (up to 5 minutes) compared to Twitter.
