Christantus Uche’s future at Getafe remains uncertain, as club president Ángel Torres addressed growing speculation surrounding the midfielder’s next move, NaijNaira can report.
The update, shared via Ceuta TV, follows increasing interest in the Nigerian international from clubs including Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Newcastle, and Sunderland.
Torres said, “Uche doesn’t even know what he wants; it all depends on how he gets up. Tomorrow, if he comes, we’ll talk to him.”
He added, “He’s clear that he wants to go to the Premier League. He has offers from Italy, but I don’t know why—he wants the Premier. He will tell us from tomorrow.”
Uche, 22, played a key role for Getafe last season under coach Jose Bordalás, with four goals and six assists in La Liga.
His valuation currently stands at €15 million, according to Transfermarkt, as interest in his services rises.
The Super Eagles midfielder earned his international debut earlier this year in the Unity Cup final against Jamaica.
Despite offers from Serie A, sources close to the player suggest the Premier League is his preferred destination.
The coming days are expected to clarify where Uche will land ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
