AC Milan have named Victor Boniface as their top summer target as they work to revamp their forward line for the 2024/25 season, NaijNaira can report.

Massimiliano Allegri’s arrival as head coach and Igli Tare’s appointment as Sporting Director signal a bold reset at San Siro. According to reports, Boniface is Milan’s preferred option as they seek a proven striker to lead their attack.

Boniface, 24, helped Bayer Leverkusen win the Bundesliga in 2024 but struggled with injuries late in the season. He now faces tough competition from Patrik Schick under new coach Erik ten Hag, which could accelerate his exit.

“Victor has the tools to lead any attack in Europe,” one source close to the club said.

With only Lorenzo Colombo and Santiago Gimenez as current striking options, Milan want a reliable goal-scorer.

Milan are also tracking Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson as a backup. Meanwhile, Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare is on the radar as a low-cost option.

Arokodare scored 21 goals for Genk last season and is valued at €18 million by Transfermarkt. Napoli, Burnley, and Fulham are also interested.

Milan’s push for new firepower continues, with Nigerian stars firmly in focus.
