AC Milan, the reigning champions of Serie A, are on the lookout for a new striker this summer and have set their sights on Nigerian forward Victor Boniface.
The team’s chief, Paolo Maldini, and Ricky Massara are searching for a partner for Olivier Giroud, and Boniface is among the names being considered.
The 22-year-old has made a name for himself with his impressive performances for Union Saint Gilloise in Europe this season, scoring 11 goals in 13 outings.
He has also scored nine goals in 30 league matches for the Belgian Pro League team.
AC Milan’s interest in Boniface comes after the disappointing performance of their current striker, Divock Origi, who is a Belgium international.
