Adamu Garba, a former presidential aspirant for the All Progressives Congress (APC), claimed that the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) redesign of the naira was a plot to stop Bola Tinubu from becoming President.
The plan, according to Garba’s tweet, would not be successful.
His pronouncement was echoed by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila – who argued they were trying to build animosity towards Tinubu but he was still head and shoulders above his opponents.
Ultimately, Gbajabiamila asserted that God intervened and the plan failed.
