Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has stated that Vinicius Junior has no plans to leave the club despite suffering from repeated racist abuse.
The Brazilian winger was subjected to racist insults before and during Madrid’s recent loss to Valencia and was later shown a red card for his involvement in an on-pitch brawl.
Despite this, Ancelotti believes that Vinicius is committed to the club and wants to continue playing for Real Madrid.
The coach also drew a distinction between Spain and other countries, claiming that English authorities had taken sufficient action when it came to abuse of players.
Ancelotti stated that condemning racism is not enough and that action needs to be taken to stop it.
