Arsenal Prepared for Potential Kane Return After Striker Secures Exit Clause

Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich contract includes a clause allowing the striker to return to England for a discounted transfer fee, according to reports.

Since joining Bayern Munich from Tottenham, Kane has excelled, scoring 70 goals and providing 22 assists in 72 appearances.

However, his future may involve a Premier League return, as the clause in his contract enables him to leave Bayern for England in either the January 2025 or 2026 transfer window.

Kane is currently second on the Premier League’s all-time goalscoring list with 213 goals, just behind Alan Shearer’s record of 260.

Kane has expressed interest in breaking that record, which could be a driving factor behind his potential move back to England.

While he did not trigger the clause in the latest January window, the option remains active, and if executed, it would allow him to make a potentially game-changing return to England during the summer of 2026 for approximately €65m/£54m.

Although the price may seem high for a player over 30, Kane’s consistent goal-scoring ability and lack of reliance on pace mean he remains a valuable asset.

This potential transfer could also have implications for Arsenal’s striker plans, as they may adjust their strategy based on Kane’s return to the Premier League.

However, Kane will not be leaving Bayern in the immediate future, as the clause was not triggered in January 2025.
