Arsenal provide injury update on Thomas Partey ahead of Man Utd clash

Arsenal have received a major injury blow ahead of their clash against Manchester United, with Thomas Partey picking up a groin problem in training.

The Ghanaian FA confirmed the injury, stating that Partey is likely to be out for a couple of weeks.

Oleksandr Zinchenko, who has been sidelined with an injury picked up in pre-season, has returned to the squad and could potentially start against United.

Jurrien Timber, who suffered an ACL injury on his Arsenal debut, is expected to miss the majority of the season.

Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus, who were rumored to have picked up knee injuries, are both available for the game.

Takehiro Tomiyasu, who was sent off in the previous match, has served his suspension and is eligible for selection.

Mohamed Elneny, who suffered a knee injury in January, is still recovering with no clear return date.

Albert Sambi Lokonga, Nicolas Pepe, and Cedric Soares are also recovering from injuries at the moment.
