Ayodele Fayose, the former Governor of Ekiti State, has issued a warning to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and threatened to expose some of the party’s secrets.
He stated that if the PDP takes any punitive action against him based on the outcome of the 2023 general election, he will take the party to court.
Fayose also revealed that he worked for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, and worked against the PDP’s candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
He believes that a Southern Nigerian should be the next President of the country after President Buhari’s eight years in office, and criticizes the PDP for choosing another northerner as its candidate.
Fayose emphasized that if his voice is suppressed, he will reveal even more.
“If PDP take action against me, I will take them to court,” the ex-governor stated.
“If anybody suppresses my voice, I will say things more than this,” he added.
He also clarified that his meeting with Tinubu was not related to his trial by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and stated that Tinubu does not have the power to stop the trial.
