Dr Baba Haruna has been appointed as the Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Bida by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The appointment, which was effective from May 21, is for a period of five years.
The Minister of Education, Alhaji Adamu Adamu, conveyed the approval of the appointment in a letter made available to the press in Bida.
The terms and conditions of service, including remuneration and fringe benefits, will be in accordance with those approved for Rectors of Federal Polytechnics.
Haruna, who was previously the Director of Quality Assurance at the polytechnic, has been congratulated by Buhari, who wished him a successful tenure in office.
