Reports have emerged that several Bayern Munich players are distancing themselves from Sadio Mane following his altercation with Leroy Sane.
The incident occurred after Bayern’s Champions League quarter-final first leg loss to Manchester City, where Mane allegedly punched Sane in the dressing room.
As a result, Mane was fined and left out of the matchday squad for their recent draw against Hoffenheim.
Despite a strong start to the season, Mane’s injury and subsequent dip in form, coupled with this incident, have put his future at the club in doubt.
Sky Germany has reported that Mane is now viewed critically by his teammates, who have distanced themselves from him.
He is now a candidate to be sold in the upcoming transfer window, as Bayern Boss Thomas Tuchel has no plans to continue working with him.
