Bayero University, Kano (BUK) recently announced the passing of its Registrar, Malam Jamilu Ahmad Salim, after a brief illness.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sagir Abbas, issued a statement expressing his condolences to the family of the deceased, the University community, and the people of Kano State.

Malam Jamilu Ahmad Salim had served as the Registrar of the University for the past four years and was described as a dedicated and hardworking member of staff who contributed significantly to the growth and development of the institution.

The University Management expressed deep sadness at the news of his passing and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.

The funeral prayer for Malam Jamilu Ahmad Salim has been scheduled to be held at the BUK Central Mosque, New Campus, Kano, at 10:00 am on Wednesday.

The University community and the people of Kano State are invited to attend and pay their respects to the departed Registrar.

The passing of Malam Jamilu Ahmad Salim is a loss not only to his family and loved ones but also to the entire BUK community.

The University Management has expressed its commitment to supporting the family of the deceased in any way possible during this difficult time.
