Do you want to become a Paga Agent in Naija? Do you know how? Relax, this article is a long one with full details of all you need to about Paga Agents.
As a newly registered Paga agent, you are free to decide how much to use as start-up capital.
Once your account has been fully set up, a Paga representative will be assigned to extensively train you on how the Paga agent scheme works.
Agent accounts are not transferable. But you can operate one agent account simultaneously in different locations by creating teller/user accounts that can be used at other locations. And you can operate anywhere in Nigeria with your agent account.
How to create a teller
Simply follow the below steps:
- Login to your agent account
- Click on user account under “my account”
- Fill in the required details
- Grant Access
- Save
But what is the role of teller?
The teller has the ability to log in using details generated during the teller account creation (different from main agent login details) and perform transactions from the agent’s efloat. The maximum number of tellers allowed is 10.
Don’t panic as you can temporarily or permanently stop the teller from using your account.
Or you can just edit (add or remove) the teller’s access by following the below steps:
Step 1: Login and click on “user account”.
Step 2: Search and find the teller in the table displayed in the “tellers” section.
Step 3: Click on the “teller username” held in the “username” column.
Step 4: Under grants access, click “delete” next to the item you wish to remove or select an item from the drop-down list and click “add” to give the teller access to the selected item.
Step 5: Click “save”.
To monitor the teller’s activities, simply follow the below steps.
Step 1: Log in to your account.
Step 2: Click on “transaction history”
Step 3: Find the teller username in the “username” column or enter the teller username in the “username” search field and click “go” to get transaction activities for the specified teller.
Always ensure to do a proper screening and background check before hiring a teller.
Always request tellers to provide at least two guarantors, which will be held liable for any theft committed by the teller.
DO NOT share your administrative password with your teller(s)
Always create an account for each teller, and allow them to choose a password known only to them. You should not know their password either.
Creating a teller account for each teller allows you the agency owner or administrator, to know who performed which transaction.

All local ATM cards- Verve, Master and Visa cards can be used on the POS Terminal, except foreign cards.
