Todd Boehly, the owner of Chelsea, has reportedly shown interest in signing Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, who is also a target for Manchester United.
This interest has grown after a glowing endorsement from manager Mauricio Pochettino, who is close to being named as Chelsea’s next permanent manager.
Pochettino believes that Martinez is one of the best strikers in world football.
Martinez has had an impressive season, scoring 23 goals and registering nine assists in 48 games across competitions for Inter.
He was also part of the Argentina squad that won the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Inter Milan is open to offers for Martinez and could sell him for £70 million this summer to raise funds.
