Tragic news from the Capital Territory as PDP party Chairman Sunday Zakka has reportedly passed away.
It is believed that Zakka, along with his driver and aide, was involved in a fatal auto crash while en route to his hometown in anticipation of the Presidential and National Assembly Election on Saturday.
According to Legit.ng, details of the accident are still unfolding.
An anonymous official of the PDP stated that the party will release an official statement on Zakka’s passing shortly.
“Yes, it is true the FCT PDP chairman is dead. It was an auto rash, God rest his soul.
“The party will make an official statement at the appropriate time, you know this is an Election Day, we don’t want people demoralised” they said during their discussion with Legit.
