With news that Rihanna is pregnant with her second child and planning a beach wedding to fiancé A$AP Rocky in their native Barbados, fans of the singer are now speculating that her much-awaited ninth album may be further delayed.
According to reports, despite how excited fans are for new music from the star, she has put releasing her album on hold in order to focus on preparing for the big day.
The couple have been together since 2020 and already share one son, with their second child due later this year.
With plans for something low-key on the beach followed by an even bigger celebration next year, it looks like fans may have to wait a while before they get to hear any new music from the ‘Umbrella’ artist.
However, it appears that despite postponing her album release, Rihanna hasn’t given up hope of finally bringing out fresh material this year as she told British Vogue: “I just want to make music and make videos.”
