Celine Dion, the renowned singer, has been battling with a rare and incurable neurological health condition known as Stiff Person Syndrome.
Due to her worsening health condition, she has cancelled her entire world tour, which she had previously postponed.
Celine took to Instagram to express her “tremendous disappointment” and to apologize to her fans.
She stated that she is working hard to regain her strength, but touring can be very difficult, even when one is 100% healthy.
Celine revealed that she has been diagnosed with the rare neurological disorder called stiff person syndrome, which affects one in a million people.
The condition causes muscles to tense uncontrollably, ultimately leaving sufferers as “human statues” as it progressively locks the body into rigid positions, leaving sufferers unable to walk or talk.
Although there is no cure for SPS, Celine is doing all she can to minimize symptoms and is determined to return to the stage as soon as possible.
