Inter Milan’s pursuit of Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku may be in jeopardy as Juventus looks to intervene.
After continuous negotiations, Inter has offered €40 million for Lukaku, which is close to Chelsea’s valuation.
However, Juventus has also approached Chelsea with a similar offer of €37.5 million plus €2.5 million in bonuses.
Lukaku was initially interested in a move to Inter, but after talks with Juventus, he is now reconsidering his options.
Inter is disappointed with Lukaku’s behavior and believes he is leaning towards a move to Turin.
However, Juventus will only proceed with the deal if Dusan Vlahovic leaves this summer.
Inter may have to reassess their options for a striker in the transfer market if they abandon the pursuit of Lukaku.
