Chelsea fans are eagerly awaiting news on Mauricio Pochettino’s next moves in the summer transfer window.
With five exits already confirmed, including N’Golo Kante’s departure to Al-Ittihad, the focus is now on securing the departures of Hakim Ziyech, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Edouard Mendy.
Meanwhile, Kai Havertz and Mateo Kovacic are expected to move to Arsenal and Manchester City, respectively.
Pochettino’s immediate priority is to help seal Mason Mount’s exit to Manchester United, with the Red Devils reportedly preparing a bid in excess of £55million.
The Blues are also keen to sign Moises Caicedo, with an £80million proposal set to be sent soon.
However, they are first focusing on balancing the books and securing Mount’s departure before making an official offer for Caicedo.
The delay in making an offer for Caicedo could be detrimental if Arsenal lose the Declan Rice battle to Manchester City or if no agreement can be found for Mount to join Man United.
The Guardian has reported that ten Hag could switch his focus away from Mount and onto Caicedo, potentially leaving Chelsea without their main summer target and Mount running down his contract.
