Clint Eastwood had more than one reason to smile on his 95th birthday. The celebrated actor and director rang in the milestone with news that his family is expanding once again.
According to Hello! Magazine, Eastwood’s daughter, Francesca Eastwood, shared that she is expecting her second child. The 31-year-old actress revealed her pregnancy with a pair of emotional black-and-white photos on Instagram, lovingly holding her growing bump.
Francesca, daughter of actress Frances Fisher, added a sentimental touch by wearing the same vintage gown her mother once wore while pregnant with her. “Wearing the dress my mom wore more pregnant with me @francesfisher,” she wrote in a heartfelt caption.
Frances Fisher responded with joy, commenting: “Oh Francesca, the excitement is building!!” She also shared that the baby is due on October 22. Another image featured Francesca’s six-year-old son Titan, who sweetly stood behind her enjoying a cookie as she cradled her bump.
Francesca and her partner, actor Alexander Wraith, welcomed Titan in 2018. The couple later confirmed they are expecting a boy in a gender reveal video, where family members predicted the baby’s sex before cutting into a cake filled with blue icing.
Frances added a playful note on Instagram after the reveal: “We had a blast! Titan kept insisting he’s going to have a baby brother, and he was correct!”
Eastwood’s bond with Francesca was also touched upon in the interview, with Frances Fisher saying: “He’s great when he’s there because he is very engaged, but he’s got a busy life directing a lot. Francesca worked together with him in Juror No. 2, he put her in there, so that was great that she had time on the set with him.”
Clint Eastwood is a father to eight children—Laurie, Kimber, Kyle, Alison, Scott, Kathryn, Morgan, and Francesca—born to six different women. With over four decades between his eldest and youngest children, Eastwood’s family spans multiple generations.
Despite the spotlight, Francesca has taken her time stepping into acting. Fisher noted her daughter once avoided the field due to outside expectations, but eventually embraced the path. “She’s a natural and she loves it,” she said, adding, “I learned a long time ago just to keep my mouth shut until she asks for advice.”
