The tournament will have a unique structure, with the opening three matches set to take place in South America, specifically in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
This arrangement serves to honor the centenary of the inaugural World Cup held in Uruguay in 1930, where the host nation emerged victorious.
Initially, South America had bid to host the entire tournament, but an agreement was made for the opening games to take place there, while the main matches will be in Europe and Morocco.
