Afrobeats icon David Adeleke, aka Davido, revealed that Aliko Dangote, the richest man in Africa, buys two automobiles every eight years.
This was revealed by the famous singer in a recent Forbes interview.
He discussed the friendship between his family and Dangote, noting that Chief Adedeji Adeleke, his wealthy father, is friends with the richest black person in the world.
According to him, he said:
“Uncle Aliko [Dangote] is a very different kind of billionaire. Uncle Aliko buys two cars every eight years. He’s a very disciplined and very different kind of billionaire.
Every time I see him, he just says one thing, ‘Save your money!’. There’s nothing more he tells me, every time save your money. He and my dad have been very close friends.”
“And he [Dangote] has done well for us [Nigerians] back home. He made us a lot of industries. He just opened the biggest factory in Africa. That’s providing jobs.”
