During a recent podcast episode, Nigerian music video director TG Omori shared an interesting story about his encounter with YBNL signee Asake.
Omori revealed that three years ago, Asake couldn’t afford N5 million for a video shoot.
Omori had known Asake before he gained fame and had even encouraged him to reach out when the time was right for a collaboration.
However, when Omori asked Asake to come up with N5 million for the video shoot, Asake never returned, later informing Omori that he didn’t have the money.
Despite this setback, Omori has since worked with Asake on other music videos.
