Who’re the most ruthless and clinical attacking tridents who form an amazing tandem this season?

The football community has over the years seen some brilliant players form a wonderful partnership and go on to achieve commendable success due to their understanding and connection on the pitch.

So when we talk about Europe’s best attacking tridents, it is based on players who are in-form and have contributed hugely to the success of their respective teams.

Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia & Elmas – (Napoli, 43-goals)

Scudetto winning trident Victor Osimhen, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Elmas have been so deadly in attack this season for the Partenopai with their goals-contributions and telepathic understanding.

Leading goal-scorer Osimhen in Serie A this season notched in 25-goals, while Kvaratskhelia and Elmas scored 12 and 6 goals respectively as Napoli bid farewell to their 35-years of waiting to win a title.

Martin Odegaard, Martinelli & Bukayo Saka – (Arsenal, 43-goals)

That the Gunners started the 2022-23 English Premier League like a house on fire, certainly has everything to do with the contributions of the trio.

Odegaard, Martinelli and Saka brings a lot to the table going forward for the North London outfit, but unfortunately, they couldn’t win the league.

Though it’s a bit painful not to see them crown their efforts in the attacking-third with a title having raised the hope of lot of fans, however, with their champions league qualification achievement the Arsenal’s board should be happy of the progress they accomplished made this season.

Harry Kane, Heung-min Son, Bentancur – (Tottenham, 43-goals)

To say Spurs had one of their worst and most underwhelming campaign in the English Premier League is certainly an understatement considering how poor they’ve been in the league this season.

While the above statement is an undeniable fact about the Lilly-White, it must be said that in their poorest of form Tottenham Hotspur’s trio of Kane, Son and Bentencur scored a combined 43-goals this season.

Haaland, Foden, Alvarez – (Manchester City, 55-goals)

The trio of Erling Haaland (36 goals), Phil Foden (10 goals) and Julien Alvarez (6 goals) scored a combined total of 55-goals for the Premier League champions this season.

Though the duo of Foden and Alvarez are not regular starter in the City team, however, they contributed their quota in terms of goals-contributions to the success of the team.

Mbappe, Messi, Neymar Jr – (Paris Saint-Germain, 57-goals)

If Christophe Galtier’s side don’t win the Ligue 1 this season, it would have been an abysmal 2022-23 campaign for the Parisien having witness the trio of Mbappe, Messi and Neymar Jr scoring a whopping 57-goals.

The trio of Mbappe scored (28-goals), Lionel Messi (16-goals), and Neymar Jr (13-goals) has a combined total of 57 goals for the French giant who are crowned champions last weekend.
