Festus Keyamo, the chief spokesperson of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s campaign organization, has clarified the whereabouts of Nigeria’s President-elect.
Tinubu had been out of public view for some time, leading to concerns among Nigerians regarding his health and whereabouts.
However, Keyamo took to his Twitter account to address the issue, questioning why some people who didn’t accept Tinubu as their President-elect were anxious to know his whereabouts.
Keyamo described their positions as the futility of living in denial and advised that they shouldn’t be asking about his whereabouts.
However, he failed to provide any concrete information on Tinubu’s health status or location.
It would be recalled that shortly after Tinubu emerged as the President-elect, he traveled to France, with his camp claiming that he needed to take time off to rest after the stress of the campaign and electioneering periods.
With a few weeks to his swearing-in as the next President of Nigeria on May 29th, Nigerians have expressed concerns over Tinubu’s absence and the lack of official information on his health status.
