Former Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone has advised Mick Schumacher to give up on his dream of driving for Mercedes.
Despite being the son of F1 legend Michael Schumacher, Ecclestone believes that Mick lacks the necessary support to make a successful comeback.
He suggests that Mick should start thinking about alternative career paths.
“He has to forget this dream because sooner or later we all wake up from a dream, the former F1 supremo, told RTL. “He has to accept that and start thinking about what the alternative is and try to pursue that.”
Ecclestone also commented on the recent fake interview with Michael Schumacher, stating that it was bad for the family and difficult for them to deal with.
When asked about rumors of Sebastian Vettel returning to F1, Ecclestone stated that it was up to Christian Horner to decide.
