Ed Woodward, the former executive vice-chairman of Manchester United, has announced his first role since leaving the club last year.
Woodward, who spent 16 years with the football club, has joined educational esports company EStars as part of their board.
The company, which was founded in 2017 and is based in Abu Dhabi, already has former Newcastle and Netherlands goalkeeper Tim Krul on its board.
Woodward expressed his excitement about joining the team and the potential for success in combining esports, education, and the dynamic Middle Eastern region.
