Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, the former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, has denied allegations that he received a bribe from Diezani Alison-Madueke or any of her associates.
The allegations were made in a UK court, where Alison-Madueke is facing criminal charges related to bribery and corruption.
Kachikwu was accused of accepting cash, luxury goods, flights on private jets, and the use of high-end properties in exchange for awarding oil contracts.
However, Kachikwu has stated that he never met any of the accused individuals and did not receive any bribes or business favors during his time in public service.
He also emphasized that if there were any attempts to bribe him, he was not involved and did not receive any offers or favors.
