Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, has pointed to discordant forces as the source of Nigeria’s current fuel and naira scarcity.
He believes these elements have been working to thwart the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu’s victory at the February 25 poll.
At a launching event for Gbaja Ride in Lagos on Tuesday, Mr Gbajabiamila acknowledged that his legislative chamber was striving hard to alleviate people’s pains brought forth by such crises.
He appealed that the judiciary take cognisance of this distress brought about by what he considers a politicised policy reform.
According to him and many other observations, this policy was orchestrated to sabotage Tinubu’s supposed presidential victory but thankfully Nigerians remain loyal despite chaos arising from naira scarcity.
Hence Mr Gbajabiamila tipped his hat off in veneration for their fidelity, adding “I have followed Asiwaju’s campaign team all over Nigeria and I cannot help expressing my admiration”.
