The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has extended the deadline for citizens to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
In a meeting with the Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) of all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu stated that additional measures may be taken to ensure that everyone is able to collect their PVCs before the General Election date.
The Commission disclosed that since more Nigerians are continuously collecting their voter cards, they’ve decided to extend the collection period by one week.
It was announced that collection will end on February 5th, 2023.
