Erling Haaland was on top form both on and off the pitch during Manchester City’s 7-0 victory over Leipzig on Tuesday, in which he scored an incredible 5 goals with only 30 touches of the ball.
During the post-game interview, Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards of CBS Sports asked the young striker how it felt to score such a jaw-dropping amount of goals in one match.
Haaland replied jokingly; “It’s an amazing feeling. I think you’re (Thierry Henry) the only one that knows how to score a lot of goals…” eliciting laughter from all three commentators and adding ” kind of knew I would score a lot of goals.”
He continued by highlighting “there is so much potential in this team and we can improve a lot of things.”
