Real Madrid showcased a dominant performance on Saturday, bouncing back from two consecutive home defeats with a convincing 4-0 win against Osasuna in La Liga.

After a tough period that included a lopsided loss to Barcelona and a disappointing outing against AC Milan, Carlo Ancelotti’s squad desperately needed this confidence-boosting victory at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Vinicius opened the scoring in the 34th minute, finishing from close range after a pass from Jude Bellingham.

Bellingham then netted his first goal of the season with a clever lob, assisted by debutant Raul Asencio.

Vinicius added two more goals, first capitalizing on a long ball from goalkeeper Andriy Lunin to round the keeper, and then completing his hat-trick with a simple finish after Brahim Diaz won the ball deep in Osasuna’s half.

Despite the dominant win, Madrid faced injury concerns. Kylian Mbappe, who has struggled to score recently, failed to find the net once again, extending his run to just one goal in his last seven matches.

Additionally, Brazilian duo Eder Militao and Rodrygo were both forced off with injuries, while Lucas Vazquez also limped off. Militao’s injury, which saw him stretchered off with a knee issue, was particularly worrying given Madrid’s already lengthy injury list.

The win narrowed the gap to Barcelona, who are six points ahead at the top of La Liga.
